मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-32

समृद्धिमृद्धिमद्द्रव्यादपहिन्ति च कन्यका ।
सा स्वयंहारिकेत्युक्ता सदान्तर्धानतत्परा ॥३२॥
32. samṛddhimṛddhimaddravyādapahinti ca kanyakā .
sā svayaṃhāriketyuktā sadāntardhānatatparā.
32. samṛddhim ṛddhimat dravyāt apahinti ca kanyakā
sā svayam hārikā iti uktā sadā antardhānatatparā
32. And a maiden (kanyakā) takes away prosperity from valuable possessions. She is called 'self-stealer' (svayaṃhārikā) and is always intent on disappearance.
