मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-76

पर्वस्वथान्यत् तस्मात्तु वर्ज्यान्येतानि पण्डितैः ।
गर्भहन्तुः सुतो निघ्नो मोहनी चापि कन्यका ॥७६॥
76. parvasvathānyat tasmāttu varjyānyetāni paṇḍitaiḥ .
garbhahantuḥ suto nighno mohanī cāpi kanyakā.
76. parvasu atha anyat tasmāt tu varjyāni etāni paṇḍitaiḥ
| garbhahantuḥ sutaḥ nighnaḥ mohanī ca api kanyakā
76. Then, another (period is) during the sacred festival (parva) days. Therefore, these (periods) should certainly be avoided by the learned. The son of one who destroys an embryo becomes afflicted, and the daughter also becomes deluding.
