तयोरपत्यान्यभवने जगद्व्यापीनि षोडश ।
अष्टौ कुमाराः कन्याश्च तथाष्टावतिभीषणाः ॥२॥

2. tayorapatyānyabhavane jagadvyāpīni ṣoḍaśa .

They had sixteen offspring that pervaded the world: eight sons and eight daughters, all exceedingly terrible.
