मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-39

उद्वेगं जनयत्यन्या एकस्थाननिवासिनः ।
पुरुषस्य तु या प्रोक्ता भ्रामणी सा तु कन्यका ॥३९॥

39. Another kind of maiden causes distress for a person (puruṣa) who dwells in one place. Indeed, such a maiden is called a 'wanderer' (bhramaṇī).
