महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-165, verse-86

धुर्यान्प्रमुच्य तु रथाद्धतसूतान्स्वलंकृतान् ।
अधिरुह्य हयान्योधाः क्षिप्रं पद्भिरचोदयन् ॥८६॥
86. dhuryānpramucya tu rathāddhatasūtānsvalaṁkṛtān ,
adhiruhya hayānyodhāḥ kṣipraṁ padbhiracodayan.

86. Yodhāḥ tu,

86. The warriors, having released the well-decorated draught animals from chariots whose drivers had been killed, and then having mounted horses, swiftly spurred them on with their feet.
