महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-165, verse-70

रजस्वला वेपमाना वीक्षमाणा दिशो दश ।
अश्रुकण्ठा यथा दैत्या हिरण्याक्षे पुरा हते ॥७०॥
70. rajasvalā vepamānā vīkṣamāṇā diśo daśa ,
aśrukaṇṭhā yathā daityā hiraṇyākṣe purā hate.

70. Like the demons of old, when Hiraṇyākṣa was slain, she, menstruating, trembling, and gazing in all ten directions, had her throat choked with tears.
