33. evamuktastato droṇo bhīmenotsṛjya taddhanuḥ ,

karṇa karṇa maheṣvāsa kṛpa duryodhaneti ca.

Having been addressed thus by Bhīma, then Droṇa, whose soul was righteous (dharma-ātman), abandoning that bow and wishing to cast aside all weapons, spoke: 'Karṇa! Karṇa! Great bowman! Kṛpa! And Duryodhana!'
