महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-165, verse-85

अन्योन्यं ते समाक्रोशन्सैनिका भरतर्षभ ।
तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति न च ते स्वयं तत्रावतस्थिरे ॥८५॥
85. anyonyaṁ te samākrośansainikā bharatarṣabha ,
tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti na ca te svayaṁ tatrāvatasthire.

tiṣṭha tiṣṭha iti na ca te svayam tatra avatasthire
85. Bharatarṣabha,
te sainikāḥ anyonyam "tiṣṭha tiṣṭha" iti samākrośan,
ca te svayam tatra na avatasthire.
85. O best among the Bhāratas, those soldiers shouted at each other, "Stop! Stop!" Yet, they themselves did not stand firm there.
