महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-165, verse-61

अन्विच्छन्तः शरीरं तु भारद्वाजस्य पार्थिवाः ।
नाध्यगच्छंस्तदा राजन्कबन्धायुतसंकुले ॥६१॥
61. anvicchantaḥ śarīraṁ tu bhāradvājasya pārthivāḥ ,
nādhyagacchaṁstadā rājankabandhāyutasaṁkule.

61. But then, O King, the princes, searching for the body of Bharadvaja [Droṇa], could not find it at that time amidst the confusion of thousands of headless torsos.
