महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-85

तपसा चिन्तयंश्चापि तं शिशुं नोपलक्षये ।
भूतं भव्यं भविष्यच्च जानन्नपि नराधिप ॥८५॥
85. tapasā cintayaṁścāpi taṁ śiśuṁ nopalakṣaye ,
bhūtaṁ bhavyaṁ bhaviṣyacca jānannapi narādhipa.
85. tapasā cintayan ca api taṃ śiśuṃ na upalakṣaye
bhūtaṃ bhavyaṃ bhaviṣyat ca jānan api narādhipa
85. O king, even though I know the past, present, and future, I could not perceive that child, even by meditating with austerity (tapas).
