महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-59

यच्च काष्ठं तृणं चापि शुष्कं चार्द्रं च भारत ।
सर्वं तद्भस्मसाद्भूतं दृश्यते भरतर्षभ ॥५९॥
59. yacca kāṣṭhaṁ tṛṇaṁ cāpi śuṣkaṁ cārdraṁ ca bhārata ,
sarvaṁ tadbhasmasādbhūtaṁ dṛśyate bharatarṣabha.
59. yat ca kāṣṭhaṃ tṛṇaṃ ca api śuṣkaṃ ca ārdraṃ ca bhārata
sarvaṃ tat bhasmasāt bhūtaṃ dṛśyate bharatarṣabha
59. O Bhārata, O best of the Bhāratas, whatever wood and grass, whether dry or wet, is all seen to have turned to ashes.
