महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-50

धनं विश्वासतो न्यस्तं मिथो भूयिष्ठशो नराः ।
हर्तुं व्यवसिता राजन्मायाचारसमन्विताः ॥५०॥
50. dhanaṁ viśvāsato nyastaṁ mitho bhūyiṣṭhaśo narāḥ ,
hartuṁ vyavasitā rājanmāyācārasamanvitāḥ.
50. dhanam viśvāsataḥ nyastam mithaḥ bhūyiṣṭhaśaḥ
narāḥ hartum vyavasitāḥ rājan māyācārasamanvitāḥ
50. O King, most people, filled with fraudulent (māyācāra) behavior, resolve to steal wealth that was mutually entrusted to them.
