महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-114

ततस्तस्यैव शाखायां न्यग्रोधस्य विशां पते ।
आस्ते मनुजशार्दूल कृत्स्नमादाय वै जगत् ॥११४॥
114. tatastasyaiva śākhāyāṁ nyagrodhasya viśāṁ pate ,
āste manujaśārdūla kṛtsnamādāya vai jagat.
114. tataḥ tasya eva śākhāyām nyagrodhasya viśām
pate āste manujaśārdūla kṛtsnam ādāya vai jagat
114. Then, O Lord of the people, O best among men, indeed, upon a branch of that very banyan tree, he (Viṣṇu) was seated, holding the entire universe (jagat).
