महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-78

निर्मनुष्ये महीपाल निःश्वापदमहीरुहे ।
अनन्तरिक्षे लोकेऽस्मिन्भ्रमाम्येकोऽहमादृतः ॥७८॥
78. nirmanuṣye mahīpāla niḥśvāpadamahīruhe ,
anantarikṣe loke'sminbhramāmyeko'hamādṛtaḥ.
78. nirmanuṣye mahīpāla niḥśvāpadamahīruhe
anantarikṣe loke asmin bhramāmi ekaḥ aham ādṛtaḥ
78. O protector of the earth (mahīpāla), in this world devoid of humans, without wild animals and trees, and without the sky, I alone wandered, carried along.
