महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-112

ततस्तमेव शरणं गतोऽस्मि विधिवत्तदा ।
वरेण्यं वरदं देवं मनसा कर्मणैव च ॥११२॥
112. tatastameva śaraṇaṁ gato'smi vidhivattadā ,
vareṇyaṁ varadaṁ devaṁ manasā karmaṇaiva ca.
112. tataḥ tam eva śaraṇam gataḥ asmi vidhivat tadā
vareṇyam varadam devam manasā karmaṇā eva ca
112. Therefore, I then formally sought refuge in that very supreme and boon-bestowing deity (deva), both with my mind and with my actions (karma).
