महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-186, verse-44

यथर्तुवर्षी भगवान्न तथा पाकशासनः ।
न तदा सर्वबीजानि सम्यग्रोहन्ति भारत ।
अधर्मफलमत्यर्थं तदा भवति चानघ ॥४४॥
44. yathartuvarṣī bhagavānna tathā pākaśāsanaḥ ,
na tadā sarvabījāni samyagrohanti bhārata ,
adharmaphalamatyarthaṁ tadā bhavati cānagha.
44. yathartuvarṣī bhagavān na tathā
pākaśāsanaḥ na tadā sarvabījāni
samyak rohanti bhārata adharmaphalam
atyartham tadā bhavati ca anagha
44. Then, O Bhārata, the glorious Lord Indra (Pākaśāsana) does not rain according to the season. Then, O sinless one, not all seeds sprout properly. And at that time, the fruit of unrighteousness (adharma) becomes exceedingly abundant.
