न बन्धकीभिर्न न्यूनैर्बन्धकीपतिभिस्तथा ॥८८॥

88. na cātivyayaśīlaiśca na lubdhairnāpi vairibhiḥ .
na bandhakībhirna nyūnairbandhakīpatibhistathā.

One should cultivate friendship neither with the overly extravagant, nor with the greedy, nor with enemies. Nor with prostitutes, nor with the lowly, nor similarly with those who frequent prostitutes.
