मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-111

नाचक्षीत धयन्तीं गां जलं नाञ्जलिना पिबेत् ।
शौचकालेषु सर्वेषु गुरुष्वल्पेषु वा पुनः ॥१११॥
111. nācakṣīta dhayantīṃ gāṃ jalaṃ nāñjalinā pibet .
śaucakāleṣu sarveṣu guruṣvalpeṣu vā punaḥ.
111. na ācakṣīta dhayantīm gām jalam na añjalinā
pibet śaucakāleṣu sarveṣu guruṣu alpeṣu vā punaḥ
111. One should not gaze at a suckling cow, nor should one drink water with cupped hands. Furthermore, in all matters of purification, whether concerning elders (guru) or minor ones...
