मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-107

एवमेभिः सदा तीर्थैर्देवानां पितृभिः सह ।
सदा कार्याणि कुर्वोत नान्यतीर्थेन कर्हिचित् ॥१०७॥
107. evamebhiḥ sadā tīrthairdevānāṃ pitṛbhiḥ saha .
sadā kāryāṇi kurvota nānyatīrthena karhicit.
107. evam ebhiḥ sadā tīrthaiḥ devānām pitṛbhiḥ saha
sadā kāryāṇi kurvota na anyatīrthena karhicit
107. Thus, one should always perform rites for the gods (devānām) along with those for the ancestors using these sacred spots (tīrtha). One should never perform them using any other sacred spot.
