अविद्यमाने पूर्वोक्ते उत्तरप्राप्तिरिष्यते ।
न कुर्याद् दन्तसङ्घर्षं नात्मनो देहताडनम् ॥७२॥

na kuryād dantasaṅgharṣaṃ nātmano dehatāḍanam.

If the previously stated options are not available, the attainment of the subsequent (alternative) is prescribed. One should not grind their teeth, nor should one strike their own body.
