न हीदृशमनायुष्यं लोके किञ्चन विद्यते ॥६२॥

62. iṣṭāpūrtāyuṣāṃ hantrī paradāragatirnṛṇām .

For men, illicit contact with another's wife destroys their desired sacrifices, charitable deeds, and lifespan. Indeed, there is nothing in this world that shortens one's life as much as such an act.
