मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-84

गुरोः पतिव्रतानाञ्च तया यज्वितपस्विनाम् ।
परिवादं न कुर्वोत परिहासञ्च पुत्रक ॥८४॥
84. guroḥ pativratānāñca tayā yajvitapasvinām .
parivādaṃ na kurvota parihāsañca putraka.
84. guroḥ pativratānām ca tathā yajvi-tapasvinām
parivādam na kurvīta parihāsam ca putraka
84. O son, one should not engage in slander or ridicule of a teacher (guru), chaste wives, and similarly, those who perform sacrifices (yajvin) and ascetics (tapasvin).
