मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-109

नान्दीमुखानां कुर्वोत प्राज्ञः पिण्डोदकक्रियाम् ।
प्राजापत्येन तीर्थेन यच्च किञ्चित् प्रजापतेः ॥१०९॥

109. A wise person should perform the ritual of offering rice balls and water (piṇḍodakakriyām) for the Nāndīmukha ancestors. This, and whatever else pertains to Prajāpati (prajāpateḥ), should be done using the sacred spot (tīrtha) of Prajāpati (prājāpatyena).
