मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-117

तत्र पुत्र न वस्तव्यं यत्रैतत् त्रितयं सदा ।
जिगीषुः पूर्ववैरश्च जनश्च सततोत्सवः ॥११७॥
117. tatra putra na vastavyaṃ yatraitat tritayaṃ sadā .
jigīṣuḥ pūrvavairaśca janaśca satatotsavaḥ.

117. My son, one should not reside in a place where these three are always present: a ruler desirous of conquest, an old enemy, and people who are perpetually festive.
