मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-103

कुर्यात् कर्माणि तीर्थेन स्वेन स्वेन यथाविधि ।
देवादीनान्तथा कुर्याद् ब्राह्मेणाचमनक्रियाम् ॥१०३॥
103. kuryāt karmāṇi tīrthena svena svena yathāvidhi .
devādīnāntathā kuryād brāhmeṇācamanakriyām.

devādīnām tathā kuryāt brāhmeṇa ācamanakriyām
103. One should perform the rituals (karma) using their own designated sacred hand-channels (tīrtha), according to the prescribed rules. Similarly, for the gods and others, one should perform the sipping of water (ācamana) using the `brāhma` hand-channel.
