मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-26

पितृदेवमनुष्याणां भूतानाञ्च तथार्च्चनम् ।
कृत्वा विभवतः पश्चाद् गृहस्थो भोक्तुमर्हति ॥२६॥
26. pitṛdevamanuṣyāṇāṃ bhūtānāñca tathārccanam .
kṛtvā vibhavataḥ paścād gṛhastho bhoktumarhati.
26. pitṛdevamanuṣyāṇām bhūtānām ca tathā arcanam
kṛtvā vibhavataḥ paścāt gṛhasthaḥ bhoktum arhati
26. Having performed the worship of ancestors, gods, humans, and other beings (bhūta) according to his capacity, a householder (gṛhastha) is then permitted to eat.
