मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-34, verse-24

नाप्सु मूत्रं पुरीषं वा मैथुनं वा समाचरेत् ।
नाधितिष्ठेच्छकृन्मूत्रकेशभस्मकपालिकाः ॥२४॥
24. nāpsu mūtraṃ purīṣaṃ vā maithunaṃ vā samācaret .
nādhitiṣṭhecchakṛnmūtrakeśabhasmakapālikāḥ.
24. na apsu mūtram purīṣam vā maithunam vā samācaret
na adhitīṣṭhet śakṛt mūtra keśa bhasma kapālikāḥ
24. One should not pass urine or feces, nor engage in sexual intercourse, in water. Furthermore, one should not sit or stand upon dung, urine, hair, ashes, or skull fragments.
