मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-96

शान्तमश्वतरं नाम माननीयं दिवौकसाम् ।
रमणीयं ततोऽपस्यत् पातालं स नृपात्मजः ॥९६॥
96. śāntamaśvataraṃ nāma mānanīyaṃ divaukasām .
ramaṇīyaṃ tato'pasyat pātālaṃ sa nṛpātmajaḥ.
96. śāntam aśvataram nāma mānanīyam divaukasām
ramaṇīyam tataḥ apasyat pātālam saḥ nṛpātmajaḥ
96. They told him about their father, named Aśvatara, who was peaceful and revered by the gods. Then the prince (nṛpātmaja) saw the delightful netherworld.
