मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-39

तास्त्वदुच्चारणाद्देवि क्रियन्ते ब्रह्मवादिभिः ।
अनिर्देश्यं तथा चान्यदर्धमात्रान्वितं परम् ॥३९॥
39. tāstvaduccāraṇāddevi kriyante brahmavādibhiḥ .
anirdeśyaṃ tathā cānyadardhamātrānvitaṃ param.
39. tāḥ tvat uccāraṇāt devi kriyante brahmavādibhiḥ |
anirdeśyam tathā ca anyat ardhamātrā-anvitam param
39. O Goddess, those (seven sacrificial rites (yajñas)) are performed by the expounders of Brahman (brahmavādins) through your divine utterance. And similarly, there is another, supreme, indescribable reality, accompanied by the half-syllable (ardhamātrā).
