मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-91

जड उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा ययौ सोऽथ सह ताभ्यां नृपात्मजः ।
प्राप्तश्च गोमतीं पुण्यां निर्गम्य नगराद्वहिः ॥९१॥
91. jaḍa uvāca .
evamuktvā yayau so'tha saha tābhyāṃ nṛpātmajaḥ .
prāptaśca gomatīṃ puṇyāṃ nirgamya nagarādvahiḥ.
91. jaḍaḥ uvāca evam uktvā yayau saḥ atha saha tābhyām
nṛpātmajaḥ prāptaḥ ca gomatīm puṇyām nirgamya nagarāt bahiḥ
91. Jaḍa said, "After speaking thus, the king's son then departed with those two. Having exited the city, he reached the sacred Gomati river."
