तपश्चर्यां समास्थाय यथैतत् साध्यतेऽचिरात् ॥२७॥

27. tasmādahaṃ tathā yatnaṃ kariṣye putrakāvitaḥ .

Therefore, my sons, I will make such an effort from now on. By undertaking asceticism (tapas), this can be accomplished quickly.
