मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-27

तस्मादहं तथा यत्नं करिष्ये पुत्रकावितः ।
तपश्चर्यां समास्थाय यथैतत् साध्यतेऽचिरात् ॥२७॥
27. tasmādahaṃ tathā yatnaṃ kariṣye putrakāvitaḥ .
tapaścaryāṃ samāsthāya yathaitat sādhyate'cirāt.
27. tasmāt aham tathā yatnam kariṣye putrakau itaḥ
tapaścaryām samāsthāya yathā etat sādhyate acirāt
27. Therefore, my sons, I will make such an effort from now on. By undertaking asceticism (tapas), this can be accomplished quickly.
