मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-43

अनादिमध्यनिधनं सदसन्न सदेव यत् ।
एकन्त्वनेकं नाप्येकं भवभेदसमाश्रैतम् ॥४३॥
43. anādimadhyanidhanaṃ sadasanna sadeva yat .
ekantvanekaṃ nāpyekaṃ bhavabhedasamāśraitam.
43. anādimadhyanidhanam sat asat na sat eva yat |
ekam tu anekam na api ekam bhavabhedasamāśraitam
43. That (supreme form) which has no beginning, middle, or end, which is neither existent nor non-existent, yet is truly existent; and which is one, yet manifold, and not even (simply) one, but which rests upon the diverse forms of existence.
