मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-1

पुत्रावूचतुः ।
स राजपुत्रः संप्राप्य वेगादात्मपुरं ततः ।
पित्रोर्ववन्दिषुः पादौ दिदृक्षुश्च मदालसाम् ॥१॥
1. putrāvūcatuḥ .
sa rājaputraḥ saṃprāpya vegādātmapuraṃ tataḥ .
pitrorvavandiṣuḥ pādau didṛkṣuśca madālasām.
1. putrau ūcatuḥ sa rājaputraḥ samprāpya vegāt ātmapuraṃ
tataḥ pitroḥ vavandiṣuḥ pādau didṛkṣuḥ ca madālasām
1. The two sons spoke. That prince, having swiftly reached his own city, then wished to worship his parents' feet and to see Madālasā.
