They implored Mahādeva (Śiva), the blue-throated (Śitikaṇṭha) Lord, Umā's (Umā) husband, saying: 'If the venerable Lord (Bhagavān), the God of gods (devadeva), the three-eyed one (trilocana), is indeed pleased with us two...'
