मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-21

सद्धर्मचारिणीं पत्नीं तां मुक्त्वा गजगामिनीम्,

काञ्चिन्नाङ्गीकरिष्यामीत्येतत् सत्यं मयोदितम् ॥२१॥
21. saddharmacāriṇīṃ patnīṃ tāṃ muktvā gajagāminīm,

kāñcinnāṅgīkariṣyāmītyetat satyaṃ mayoditam.
21. saddharmacāriṇīm patnīm tām muktvā gajagāminīm
kāñcit na aṅgīkariṣyāmi iti etat satyam mayā uditam
21. Having forsaken her, my virtuous wife who adheres to good conduct (dharma) and possesses an elephant-like gait, I will not accept any other woman. This truth has been declared by me.
