मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-23, verse-57

जड उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा सा तदा देवी सर्वजिह्वा सरस्वती ।
जगामादर्शनं सद्यो नागस्य कमलेक्षणा ॥५७॥
57. jaḍa uvāca .
ityuktvā sā tadā devī sarvajihvā sarasvatī .
jagāmādarśanaṃ sadyo nāgasya kamalekṣaṇā.
57. jaḍa uvāca iti uktvā sā tadā devī sarvajihvā
sarasvatī jagāma adarśanam sadyaḥ nāgasya kamalekṣaṇā
57. Jaḍa said: Having thus spoken, that lotus-eyed goddess (devī) Sarasvatī, who possesses all tongues, immediately vanished from the serpent's sight.
