तद्दोयतां द्विजसुतौ यदि वां प्रणयो मयि ।
एतावताहं दैवेन वञ्चितोऽस्मि दुरात्मना ॥८१॥

Therefore, O two Brahmin sons (dvija-suta), if you two have affection for me, let them be given back. For in this way, I have been deceived by cruel fate (daiva) and by a wicked individual (durātman).
