ततः शांतनवो भीष्मः श्रुत्वा तं निनदं रणे ।
अभ्ययात्त्वरितो भीमं व्यूढानीकः समन्ततः ॥९७॥

97. Thereupon, Bhishma (bhīṣma), the son of Shantanu (śāntanava), having heard that roar in the battle, quickly advanced towards Bhima (bhīma) from all sides with his deployed army.
