महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-50, verse-74

पुनश्चैव द्विसाहस्रान्कलिङ्गानरिमर्दनः ।
प्राहिणोन्मृत्युलोकाय तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥७४॥
74. punaścaiva dvisāhasrānkaliṅgānarimardanaḥ ,
prāhiṇonmṛtyulokāya tadadbhutamivābhavat.

prāhiṇot mṛtyulokāya tat adbhutam iva abhavat

74. And again, the destroyer of enemies (Bhima) sent two thousand more Kalingas to the world of death (mṛtyuloka); that was truly astonishing.
