महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-50, verse-96

भीमसेनं तथा दृष्ट्वा प्राक्रोशंस्तावका नृप ।
कालोऽयं भीमरूपेण कलिङ्गैः सह युध्यते ॥९६॥
96. bhīmasenaṁ tathā dṛṣṭvā prākrośaṁstāvakā nṛpa ,
kālo'yaṁ bhīmarūpeṇa kaliṅgaiḥ saha yudhyate.

96. O king, seeing Bhimasena (bhīmasena) like that, your warriors cried out: "This is Time (kāla) personified, fighting with the Kalingas in a terrifying form!"
