अन्योन्यस्य तदा योधा निकृन्तन्तो विशां पते ।
महीं चक्रुश्चितां सर्वां शशशोणितसंनिभाम् ॥१२॥

12. O lord of the people, then the warriors, cutting down each other, made the entire earth strewn (with bodies), resembling rabbit's blood.
