महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-99

तत्राक्रन्दो महानासीत्पाण्डवानां विशां पते ।
दृष्ट्वा सेनापतिं यान्तं पाञ्चालानां रथव्रजान् ॥९९॥
99. tatrākrando mahānāsītpāṇḍavānāṁ viśāṁ pate ,
dṛṣṭvā senāpatiṁ yāntaṁ pāñcālānāṁ rathavrajān.

dṛṣṭvā senāpatim yāntam pāñcālānām rathavrajān

99. O lord of the people, a great cry arose there among the Pāṇḍavas upon seeing the commander (Karṇa) advancing towards the chariot formations of the Pāñcālas.
