महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
हस्तिभिस्तु महामात्रास्तव पुत्रेण चोदिताः ।
धृष्टद्युम्नं जिघांसन्तः क्रुद्धाः पार्षतमभ्ययुः ॥१॥
1. saṁjaya uvāca ,
hastibhistu mahāmātrāstava putreṇa coditāḥ ,
dhṛṣṭadyumnaṁ jighāṁsantaḥ kruddhāḥ pārṣatamabhyayuḥ.
1. sañjayaḥ uvāca | hastibhiḥ tu mahāmātrāḥ tava putreṇa coditāḥ
| dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ jighāṃsantaḥ kruddhāḥ pārṣatam abhyayuḥ

1. Sanjaya said: But the great commanders, urged by your son, advanced with their elephants towards Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the Pārṣata, enraged and desiring to kill him.
