महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-28

एवं हत्वा तव गजांस्ते पाण्डुनरकुञ्जराः ।
द्रुतं सेनामवैक्षन्त भिन्नकूलामिवापगाम् ॥२८॥
28. evaṁ hatvā tava gajāṁste pāṇḍunarakuñjarāḥ ,
drutaṁ senāmavaikṣanta bhinnakūlāmivāpagām.
28. evam hatvā tava gajān te pāṇḍunarakuñjarāḥ
drutam senām avaikṣanta bhinnakūlām iva apagām
28. evam tava gajān hatvā te pāṇḍunarakuñjarāḥ
drutam bhinnakūlām apagām iva senām avaikṣanta
28. Having thus killed your elephants, those Pāṇḍava warrior-chiefs quickly observed the (enemy) army, which was like a river with broken banks.
