महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-50

यस्य मे त्वं रणे पाप चक्षुर्विषयमागतः ।
त्वं हि मूलमनर्थानां वैरस्य कलहस्य च ॥५०॥
50. yasya me tvaṁ raṇe pāpa cakṣurviṣayamāgataḥ ,
tvaṁ hi mūlamanarthānāṁ vairasya kalahasya ca.
50. yasya me tvam raṇe pāpa cakṣuḥviṣayam āgataḥ |
tvam hi mūlam anarthānām vairasya kalahasya ca
50. he pāpa,
tvam raṇe me cakṣuḥviṣayam āgataḥ tvam hi anarthānām vairasya kalahasya ca mūlam
50. O wicked one, you have come into my range of sight in battle. Indeed, you are the very root of misfortunes, of enmity, and of conflict.
