महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-6

एकैकं दशभिः षड्भिरष्टाभिरपि भारत ।
द्विरदानभिविव्याध क्षिप्तैर्गिरिनिभाञ्शरैः ।
प्रच्छाद्यमानो द्विरदैर्मेघैरिव दिवाकरः ॥६॥

dviradānabhivivyādha kṣiptairgirinibhāñśaraiḥ ,

6. O Bhārata, (he) pierced each mountain-like elephant with ten, six, and even eight swiftly shot arrows. He was being obscured by the elephants, just as the sun is obscured by clouds.
