महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-17, verse-43

ततः क्रुद्धो महाराज सहदेवः प्रतापवान् ।
समाधत्त शरं घोरं मृत्युकालान्तकोपमम् ।
विकृष्य बलवच्चापं तव पुत्राय सोऽसृजत् ॥४३॥
43. tataḥ kruddho mahārāja sahadevaḥ pratāpavān ,
samādhatta śaraṁ ghoraṁ mṛtyukālāntakopamam ,
vikṛṣya balavaccāpaṁ tava putrāya so'sṛjat.

43. Then, O great king, the enraged and mighty Sahadeva, having powerfully drawn his bow, aimed a terrible arrow, which was like the god of death (Kāla) at the end of time, and shot it at your son.
