महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-51, verse-87

अद्य स्वशोणिते मग्नं शयानं पतितं भुवि ।
अपविद्धायुधं कर्णं पश्यन्तु सुहृदो निजाः ॥८७॥
87. adya svaśoṇite magnaṁ śayānaṁ patitaṁ bhuvi ,
apaviddhāyudhaṁ karṇaṁ paśyantu suhṛdo nijāḥ.

apaviddhāyudham karṇam paśyantu suhṛdaḥ nijāḥ
87. adya nijāḥ suhṛdaḥ svaśoṇite magnam bhuvi śayānam patitam apaviddhāyudham karṇam paśyantu.
87. Today, may Karna's own friends see him lying fallen on the ground, immersed in his own blood, and with his weapons cast aside.
