महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-51, verse-15

श्रेण्यश्च बहुलाः क्षीणाः प्रदीर्णाश्वरथद्विपाः ।
नानाजनपदाश्चोग्राः क्षत्रियाणाममर्षिणाम् ॥१५॥
15. śreṇyaśca bahulāḥ kṣīṇāḥ pradīrṇāśvarathadvipāḥ ,
nānājanapadāścogrāḥ kṣatriyāṇāmamarṣiṇām.

15. And there are also numerous depleted ranks, whose horses, chariots, and elephants are scattered; and fierce warriors from various regions, belonging to the angry Kṣatriyas.
