महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-51, verse-23

मागधानामधिपतिर्जयत्सेनो महाबलः ।
अद्य सप्तैव चाहानि हतः संख्येऽभिमन्युना ॥२३॥
23. māgadhānāmadhipatirjayatseno mahābalaḥ ,
adya saptaiva cāhāni hataḥ saṁkhye'bhimanyunā.

23. Jayatsena, the mighty ruler of the Magadhas, was slain in battle by Abhimanyu; and it has been only seven days (since that event).
